What Do I Need to Do Before I Go?
The first thing you need to do is ensure your handset is set up. At least 24 hours before you leave, call T-Mobile on 150 from your phone, and they will set up your phone to be used abroad. Even if youre leaving within the next 24 hours, give them a ring anyway. They will do everything they can to help. Theres no connection fee or monthly charge to set up your phone to be used abroad, but connection is subject to status and they may ask for a deposit. You only need to set up your phone once, after that its always ready to use abroad.

What Does It Cost?
T-Mobile divides the world into five zones. Wherever you roam within each zone you always pay one rate for incoming calls and one rate for outgoing calls (excluding premium rate numbers). Can I Reduce The Cost of My Calls?
The answer is yes. T-Mobile offers an option which you can add to your package, which allows you to reduce the cost of your calls. This option is called the International Option. If you call abroad or roam regularly, T-Mobiles International Option reduces call charges by up to 70%. Adding International Option to your account costs just £2.50 per month. To get International Option now, please call T-Mobile Customer Services on 150. For just £2.50, you could save yourself a fortune.
